Stuart Park is a joint effort of numerous government and private entities such as the Houston Parks Board, City of Houston Parks Department, Harris County Precinct 2, Sims Bayou Coalition, US Fish and Wildlife, and the Galveston Bay Estuary Program. The park is located along Sims Bayou near the Sims Woods Conservation Area and is intended to provide an educational experience for users with native wetlands, coast prairie grass, and forest restoration projects.
